Compost Grammar and Iceland

Picture a middle aged woman who looks worn and is sprawled on the sofa in bright orange PJ's she is wondering how the hell to do this blog thing -...Bravely she leaps in the deep end - putting her hands in the dirt and drowning in mixed metaphors and leaps of conscious connection she is trying to think gardening thoughts and store thoughts in a bloggy way she is achieving blobby.
Note the small dog who has some of the freshest compost on her face and paws. now compost there is a good place to start with a blog or a garden.  The secrets of a good compost is brown and Green layers ( brown= carbon= dry) and green layers (Green = nitrogen = wet) with this put in composting worms (Tiger worms) a sprinkle of hydrated lime and warm it up - this will happen as it rots or you can add manure or seaweed pile it up keep it moist and warm and turn over once it has significantly rotted. The bin can be whatever you like it must allow air to circulate and be big enough to contain what you need to rot - food scraps wrap in paper or cover.

My bin was made by a delightful young man from Iceland ( sdveinn Sveinson - more about him later) it involves a cot side a door and a wirewove bed base It is a marverlous thing and my happy place - at some stage I will post a picture.

I am a grammar free zone and often miss keys when I type due to a brain injury but I will try and keep it readable. I hope I do not offend but am sure that I will I wobble through life and am passionate about all manner of things I offend as often as I confuse.
